After years of serving up a "short list" of mortgage brokers to my clients, I have finally found one company that

If you have a trusted loan source, that's great! I would not want to tamper
with that relationship. I will offer these words of caution, though. Oftentimes when dealing with the larger banks, you will not be
talking to the people actually making the decisions, and it is not unusual for closings to be delayed or dropped entirely because
of a last-minute underwriting requirement. Your best defense against such problems is to respond immediately and fully to any requests
for information, be 100% honest, and be proactive. Try to find out who is handling your file in the underwriting department, and check
with them frequently to make sure everything is on track. The majority of delays in closing are due to the buyer's failure to provide
timely and accurate information.
